Grant Thornton strengthens China–Saudi services with hire of Tian Xing
Grant Thornton has strengthened the China Desk of its Saudi business with the appointment of Tian Xing, who joins the firm as China Desk Executive.
Fluent in Chinese, English, and Arabic, Tian Xing brings with her a rare blend of business experience and cultural fluency. Her experience spans advisory work with both state-owned and private Chinese enterprises across infrastructure, construction, energy, and industrial sectors.
Throughout her career, she has gained experience with facilitating strategic market entries, navigating regulatory landscapes, and forging relationships with government stakeholders and sovereign entities in the Kingdom.
In her new role, Xing aims to position Grant Thornton as the advisor of choice for Chinese companies seeking to build a presence in Saudi Arabia and growth their local operations. She also aims to strengthen the firm’s capacity to serve clients operating across the China – Saudi commercial corridor.
Xing arrival comes at a time when economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China is accelerating, driven by Vision 2030 and major cross-border investment initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative.
