Omnix supports Bayer’s Saudi business with workplace upgrade
Bayer, a global life sciences company, has implemented Microsoft Teams Rooms within its Saudi business. The transition was supported by IT consultancy firm Omnix.
With around 93,000 people around the world, Bayer is one of the global leaders in the life science fields of health care and nutrition.
With the adoption of Microsoft Teams Rooms, Bayer’s Saudi business now benefits from modern meeting room experiences that streamline communication and support a culture of collaboration. The project’s key focus areas included delivering a user-friendly application for all employees and improving meeting experiences.
Notably, the new setup leverages AI-powered camera systems that bring in-room and remote participants together through features such as auto-framing, speaker tracking, and intelligent room layout adaptation. The technology also includes ceiling-mounted microphones for optimal voice capture, one-touch meeting consoles, and intelligent room booking panels, all of which contribute to an efficient and modern workplace environment.
“Our aim was to elevate the efficiency and flexibility in our meeting rooms and the intuitive technology powered by AI supports our broader communication goals. We are especially pleased with the implementation in the Town Hall that now delivers seamless communication for our larger meetings. The implementation
Dubai-headquartered Omnix led the design and deployment of the Microsoft solution across the meeting rooms, as well as the Town Hall.

During the implementation process, Omnix worked closely together with FORTÉ, a Germany-based provider of videoconferencing solutions.
