Middle Eastern cloud consultancy Zero&One acquired by NTT Data
Zero&One, a Middle Eastern cloud consultancy firm, has been acquired by NTT Data, a global technology services group headquartered in Japan.
Founded in 2017, Zero&One is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and one of the leading cloud consultancies in the Middle East. The firm is one of the larger homegrown players in the region, operating with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Cairo and Riyadh.
Following nine years of operating independently Zero&One has now been acquired by NTT Data, a global business and technology services group with revenues of over $30 billion. Zero&One will become part of its consulting business.
“Joining NTT Data is the natural next step in our growth journey,” said Ali El Kontar, CEO of Zero&One. “We’ve built our reputation on delivering world-class cloud expertise to organizations across the Middle East. As part of NTT DATA, we can now combine our regional knowledge and AWS specialization with global resources, expanded service offerings and the ability to support clients on an even larger scale.”
For NTT Data, the deal supports its growth ambitions in the Middle East market, and deepens its cloud expertise in the AWS landscape. Zero&One holds nine AWS competencies and was named AWS’s MENA Consulting Partner of the Year in 2025. The firm also last year won an award at the EMEA level.

“This acquisition enables us to deliver high-impact solutions and enhance the value we bring to organizations in the Middle East,” said Burcak Soydan, Managing Director for the Middle East at NTT Data. “Zero&One’s expertise strengthens our ability to deliver the speed, scale and technical depth clients need in today’s cloud-first environment.”
Both Zero&One and NTT Data have not disclosed financial terms and conditions of the deal. PwC has exited its minority stake in the firm.
The transaction comes shortly after NTT Data closed a large cloud deal in Europe – the acquisition of The Cloud People added around 300 people to its ranks. A few months earlier, NTT Data also acquired South Africa-based EXAH, a Salesforce consulting and implementation partner.
