Zero&One and AWS sign agreement to accelerate cloud adoption in Saudi Arabia

Zero&One has signed a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS), aimed at accelerating cloud and AI adoption and modernization across Saudi Arabia.

The agreement builds on a Middle East-wide strategic partnership signed in 2023, which laid the groundwork for Zero&One and AWS to collaborate on cloud transformation. It saw both companies commit to joint investments in growth, talent, new services, and technology solutions.

Founded in 2017, Zero&One is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and one of the leading cloud consultancies in the Middle East. AWS is one of the world’s three largest cloud providers, alongside Microsoft and Google.

Through this new collaboration, Zero&One and AWS will work together to help enterprises in Saudi Arabia modernize legacy applications, migrate from on-premise infrastructure to AWS Cloud, and unlock new opportunities for growth and efficiency.

As part of the partnership, both organizations will focus on driving joint innovation by combining Zero&One’s industry expertise with the advanced cloud technologies of AWS to develop and localize solutions for the commercial and public sector. The collaboration also includes Zero&One’s RPM program, which helps organizations accelerate their migration to cloud, and BRAiN, an AI Accelerator Program designed to help enterprises smoothly move AI use cases from concept to production.

“Cloud and AI are inseparable drivers of transformation, and this collaboration with AWS allows us to bring both to life for organizations across Saudi Arabia,” said Ali El Kontar, CEO of Zero&One. “Through this agreement, we’re helping enterprises accelerate their readiness and migration journeys while enabling real AI innovation through programs like RPM and BRAiN – turning ambition into measurable impact aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”

According to a study by McKinsey & Company, growing cloud adoption can deliver more than $180 billion in value to the Middle East, both in the public and private sector, unlocking thousands of new jobs in the process.

“This move reaffirms our vision to empower organizations across Saudi Arabia in collaboration with AWS, so that they can innovate faster, operate more efficiently, and lead confidently in the digital era,” said El Kontar.
