WMSJ welcomes Asl Omari to its sustainability team
WMSJ, a management consultancy focused on sustainability advisory and capacity building, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Asl Omari.
Joining the firm as a Manager, Asl Omari brings deep expertise in finance and risk management, with a strong focus on sustainable finance and ESG integration.
An Al Hussein Fellowship alumna and CFA Equity Research winner, she previously gained experience in the banking sector, where she built a foundation in financial analysis, risk management, ESG, and strategic thinking.
At WMSJ, Omari will support client engagements spanning sustainability strategy, governance, assurance, and capacity building. Founded by a team of executives from global Fortune 500 companies, WMSJ brings together expertise across strategy, corporate finance, marketing, operations, technology, human capital, risk, governance, and health & safety, serving businesses across industries.
Commenting on her appointment, Omari said on LinkedIn: “I’m excited to begin a new chapter as Manager at WMSJ. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in sustainability, ESG, and responsible growth alongside an inspiring team. This journey reflects years of learning, curiosity, challenges, and belief in the power of sustainable impact – and I’m truly looking forward to what’s ahead.”
Waseem Hoeneini, Founder and Managing Partner of WMSJ, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Asl to our team. With a genuine passion for sustainability and ESG, she brings both analytical rigour and a purpose-driven perspective to WMSJ.”
The appointment follows a period of momentum for the firm. In recent months, WMSJ won several new mandates, became a member of the Clean Energy Business Council, while Hoeneini was invited by Bloomberg to share his views on Saudi Arabia’s green investments across sectors including water, food, energy, and waste management, aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 sustainability ambitions.
