Yamama Cement brings in HEED for growth and customer centricity
With the aim to accelerate its growth and professionalise its sales organisation, Yamama Cement has brought on board HEED as a partner in its commercial journey.
One of the oldest and largest producers of construction materials in Saudi Arabia, Yamama Cement has been producing cement for more than 40 years. Launched in 1961 by Prince Mohammad bin Saud al-Kabir, today the company ranks as the third largest cement producer in the Kingdom.
As part of its growth ambition, Yamama Cement aims to lift its customer-focused services to the next level, with company leader Mohammad AlMalki stating that “we fully understand that customer-centricity is the cornerstone of our future success.”
“At Yamama, we’ve always been committed to delivering the best to our customers,” said Mohammad AlMalki, who is Executive Vice President for Commercial Affairs at Yamama Cement. “Our new initiative will help us not just meet, but exceed customer expectations.”
Appointed a partner on this initiative is HEED, a boutique management consulting firm focused on commercial excellence (the firm was last week named one of the region’s leading sales consultancies).
“Choosing HEED was a strategic decision. They bring a wealth of knowledge and a tailored approach that perfectly aligns with our vision for growth. We look forward to the growth journey together,” said AlMalki.
“Our shared objective is to achieve substantial growth for Yamama Cement and redefine customer-centricity,” commented Wael Farah, Partner at HEED.
“We’re truly passionate about seeing businesses go above and beyond in meeting customer needs, not just meeting their expectations, ensuring that their customers are not merely satisfied, but thrilled with the service they receive and the relationship they have. At Yamama Cement, we’re driven by the excitement about transforming this vision into an actionable reality, and that’s what we’re dedicated to achieving.”
Work on the joint engagement is well underway, with plans crafted and early improvement initiatives in the makes. Results should be expected soon: HEED prides itself on a results-focused track record that sees their clients improve revenues by double digits within the space of 10 months.
