Pure Sports supports strategic roadmap for Union of Arab National Olympic Committees
The Union of Arab National Olympic Committees (UANOC) has adopted its new future-focused strategy. The strategic roadmap was developed in collaboration with Saudi-based advisory firm Pure Sports.
The new plan outlining the future direction of Arab sports was officially presented during the Union’s 23rd General Assembly for 2025, chaired by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki AlFaisal, and attended by representatives from 22 Arab National Olympic Committees.
The strategy was unanimously approved by all member committees, forming a unified framework for collaboration and marking an important milestone in the advancement of the Olympic movement across the Arab world.
Developed in partnership with Pure Sports, the strategic framework sets out a comprehensive roadmap for strengthening governance, fostering athlete development, and promoting long-term sustainability within the region’s sports ecosystem. It also seeks to reinforce regional cooperation by aligning efforts across national committees and ensuring collective progress under a shared vision.

The initiative reflects a growing emphasis on professional governance and strategic planning across the Arab sports landscape. By integrating data-driven insights and institutional alignment, the new framework aims to enhance performance, transparency, and collaboration – helping to position the Arab Olympic community for global competitiveness.
In a statement, Pure Sports expressed pride in its central role in shaping the future of Arab sports and said it looks forward to seeing the strategic roadmap’s impact across countries and sporting landscapes throughout the region.
