Sports Investment Forum launches in Riyadh with Pure Sports as Strategic Partner

The first edition of the Sports Investment Forum kicked off today in Riyadh, bringing together around 3,000 attendees from across the sports, tourism, and government sectors. Pure Sports serves as the Forum’s Strategic Partner.

The inaugural edition marks an important milestone in the continued growth of Saudi Arabia’s sports sector. The Kingdom currently attracts approximately 24 million tourists annually for sports events and activities, generating around SAR22 billion in spending.

Aligned with the objectives of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia aims to expand the contribution of sport to both the economy and society. This ambition is supported by a combination of government-led investments, the hosting of major global and regional events – including the FIFA World Cup 2034 – and initiatives to elevate the Kingdom’s presence on the global sporting stage.

Hosted by the Ministry of Sport, the Sports Investment Forum aims to open new horizons for sports investment in the Kingdom and strengthen private sector participation. Reflecting strong momentum and a shared vision to advance the sports industry, the Forum has attracted broad participation from stakeholders across the ecosystem.

Pure Sports

As Strategic Partner, Pure Sports will play a key role in engaging leading partners and speakers, facilitating investor meetings in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment, and supporting the Ministry of Sport throughout the Forum. In the run-up to the event, the consultancy firm guided the preparation and planning phases of the Forum.

Pure Sports also supported the Ministry of Sport in securing Javier Tebas Medrano, President of Spain’s top football league La Liga, as a keynote speaker. In his address, he will share perspectives on the future of the sports industry, highlighting emerging trends, transformation journeys, and international investment opportunities.
